PA (Nylon) – technical filament for high-load applications

PA (nylon) is a high-strength technical filament for mechanically stressed parts; compared to ABS and PETG it offers much higher toughness and wear resistance, but is moisture-sensitive and harder to print.
Advantages: high strength and toughness, excellent wear and fatigue resistance, good heat resistance.
Disadvantages: highly hygroscopic (drying required), more demanding printing (often enclosure), poorer dimensional stability.
